So what is the CrackShip Event? Everyone who wants to take part sign-ups, waits for the invite to the discord and then the fun starts! We spin a wheel with over 100 One Piece characters [No animals or minors] and you get a random pair to create a piece for. The pairs don’t have to make sense, that’s the silly joy of it. We fully welcome AUs as we doubt many of the crack ships have met in canon.

FAQ

How many pieces can I do?
We are limiting everyone to one piece [hoho] as the event is only a month long.

What if I don’t like my ship?
We spin the wheel -twice- so everyone who plays gets two choices!

What if I REALLY hate the choices I get?
The mods are reasonable but remember the spirit of the event is off the wall crazy.
_What if I don’t like problematic content and want to take part?
We are a very ship and let ship server/event so it might not be the best place for you but if the wheel lands on two blood related characters we can respin for you.

What if I LOVE problematic content?
We have places in the server to keep it, so all is good!

Do I have to be over 18?
Yes!

Do I need a discord?
Ideally, yes! Or willing to make one.

How will I know the spin is fair?
We will set up a ‘share your screen’ evening where you can see the magic happen [Low stakes silly game of chance!]

What counts as a ‘Crack ship’ vs a ‘rare pair’
If the pair has a tag on ao3 then we will take it as a rare pair, if there aren't any yet or if the ship has less than 5 fics, we're counting it as a crack ship.

How long is the event?
Sign-ups will run from Mid December with the starting day being Jan the 1st till Feb the 1st!

Can I post my piece as soon as I’m done?
We are hoping everyone waits till the 1st of Feb.

Where will they be posted?
We will create an ao3 collection closer to the time and we will reblog/repost everyone’s pieces who tag our twitter/tumblr!

Mature content but nothing sexual.

Rules

We aim to accept almost everyone who signs up but we do have a few basic rules.
+
+No drama [if you are known for harassment or anti-pro shipper discourse or have anything in your profile that is disrespectful to others ‘pro shitters’ ‘kys’ vibes] you will not be accepted.

+We are a ship-and-let-ship environment but not every zine will allow shipping, we will have general themes too. We also will have designated sections in the server for such content for you to avoid.
+
+ Everyone who signs up needs to be at least 18 years of age. [Mods are in their 30s]
+
+There will be no homophobia, racism, politics, transphobia or other such talk permitted in our projects our are servers.
+
+ There will be no drama allowed in any project and mods have the right to remove people from the project.
